VaM-X adheres to a strict 'Data Minimization' philosophy. We do not track personal browsing habits or sell user data. We collect and process only the absolute minimum information required to facilitate system access and verify membership validity.
2. Information We Process
Our system interactions are limited to the following technical necessities:
- Authentication Data: Via Discord OAuth2, we process Tokenized Identity Claims (User ID) solely to verify VIP status. We never access your private messages or friends list.
- Volatile Connection Data: We utilize DS Systems' Edge Network to perform real-time region verification. This data is processed in-memory and immediately discarded.
- Session State: A secure, HttpOnly cookie is stored locally to maintain your active encrypted session.
3. The "No-Log" Standard & Security
We operate with a strict privacy standard regarding your activity and financial security:
- No Download Activity Logs: We do not record which specific files you choose to access. Your interaction within the repository index remains private to your session.
- Secure Billing Infrastructure: To ensure maximum transaction security, all payments are routed through DS Systems, our authorized Merchant of Record. This decoupled architecture ensures that VaM-X never sees, stores, or processes your full credit card information. Transactions will appear on your statement under the DS Systems network identifier.
4. External Links & Storage
Our platform acts as an index that redirects to secure External Cloud Storage providers. Once you click a download link and leave our domain, your interaction is governed by the privacy policy of that third-party provider. VaM-X cannot control and is not responsible for the data collection practices of external sites.
5. Children's Privacy
VaM-X does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of majority. By using this service, you represent that you possess the legal capacity to consent to these terms. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
6. Law Enforcement Disclosure
We may disclose collected data (Authentication & Session Data) only in response to a valid Subpoena, Court Order, or Search Warrant.
However, due to our strict 'Data Minimization' and 'No-Log' architecture, VaM-X is technically unable to provide specific download history or browsing activity, as this data simply does not exist on our servers.
